Language of Flowers that Start with J

Diana Beebe, Mermaids Don't Do Windows, MDDW, Diana Beebe's Blog, science fiction, fantasy, Young adultThe flowers that start with J are for this lovely, amazing, wonderful Tuesday.

jasmine

I have to admit that I love, love, love the intoxicating scent of jasmine in the summer air. *dreamy face* Sorry, I drifted off. Did I mention it’s one of my favorite scents? LOL

These are two of the jasmine plants included in the book:

  • Indian jasmine means attachment.
  • White jasmine means amiability. The smell is indeed friendly.

jonquil

Use the lovely jonquil to tell someone you desire him or her.

What kinds of arrangements or messages with any of these flowers with the ones described in A through I could you create?

Since I’m working on too many things at once (what else is new?) and I was late figuring out my list, I’ll be late adding images. Sorry. I want to be sure I get the right ones with the right copyright licensing. I know too many author friends who’ve been sued for copyright infringement for using images they thought were OK.

Join me tomorrow for the meaning of a flower that starts with K. Strangely enough there were no flowers that start with K used in the flower dictionary.
