Sometimes the Fly Gets Away

This week has been one of connectivity issues. I feel a little bit like my neighbor’s adorable dog.

That fly is just out of reach! How this pup wanted to catch the thing.

LOL. So the truth is, blogging has been just out of reach for me this week, and not just because our home network was up and down. My HoneyDo reset it and it works, Of course, that also meant we had to reconnect all the devices. We’re still not done with that task.

I hope you have had better success with your goals this week!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Are kids in your area already out of school (we’re not)? What are your summer plans?

  1. Sorry to hear about the network issues. What a pain! I don’t like doing the reset either because of the complexity of our network. I actually have documented all the Screens on the network settings pages, MAC addresses for filtering etc. It helps a bunch since the network pwd doesn’t change. It’s the most pain when we get a new box.

This summer kids are doing Karate Camp and Cub Scout Twilight Camp then later in June we’re going to meet their dad at a camp site in MO and they’ll spend July in Indiana.

In August we go to Cedars Family Camp. Can’t wait!

I the midst of all that I start the new job July 1.

    busy summer!

Thank goodness we don’t have the network you do! LOL. πŸ˜€ Best wishes with the new job. I know you will have a wonderful time! Busy summer, indeed.

  2. Don’t’cha love it when technology decides to get even? … hope all your reconnectivity issues are little ones from here on in. πŸ™‚

Thanks! Technology is a necessary evil, don’t you think?

The weather has been crazy! I’ve been keeping an eye on it. Stay safe.

  3. My internet has just been sucky lately. With the big S. You know what I’m talkin’ about? We are enjoying some 75 Fahren, sunny weather this weekend. I think we’ll just enjoy the sunshine by going downtown and/or out of town. Leaving Burbville. Enough said. Cheers!

I do know! Oh, I already miss 75-degree weather. LOL. Enjoy!

  4. Basically just a continuation of my mini-vaca, in which I veg out in the backyard and try to do a little writing and a little reading. About the only long term plans I got (if you can consider June to be long term) is to go to my daughter’s 2nd recital in June, celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends, and take another mini-vaca.

Congratulations on your anniversary! That’s a wonderful thing to celebrate. It sounds like you have some fabulous plans. Enjoy!

  5. Internet connectivity has been weird but until I saw the comments on this post, I thought it was my area. Perhaps not. No doubt some of it is weather but I suspect there are other provider issues. Of late, I seem to barely keep up with anything…after all, look how late I am to respond to your post! In other words, I hear ya, Diana, but I will tell you that for me this week is starting slow as well. Hope that is not so for you.

Slow and steady this week, Karen. Slow and steady…

      Have a great week!
